Seller Interface Guide

In order to use your seller interface Upload Form you should first log in to your account. On top of the page click the Log In link. Enter your username & password and click OK.

Uploading Images

Before you start uploading you should open your images in your image editing software and fill-in the Title, Description and Keywords IPTC intormation (in English). In Adobe Photoshop® go to the "File" menu and choose "File Info...". This is not madatory but very highly recommended. If you upload images with no IPTC information you will need to edit them in your member area and enter this information. It's better to embed the IPTC information in your images once for all. Once embedded, your IPTC tags will be available in any image cataloging software or other online stock agency you may use in the future.

Click the My Images link in order to enter your Upload area. Click the New upload link.

1. Select the category in which you want to place your images.
2. If you want to attach a model or property release to your photo then select it from your list of models. For your model and property releases to appear in this list you should upload it prior to your photo. (Read below "Uploading Model and Property Releases").
3. Choose whether your photo will be licensed for Commercial Use or Editorial Use Only. A photo featuring people or brands from which you don't hold a signed model or property release can be licensed for editorial use only. Do not upload Commercial and Editorial images at the same time since the same license would be applied to all of them. Once an image is uploaded you are not allowed to change its license type. In case you need to switch from a license to another you need to delete and then reupload your image which will pass through the approval queue again.
4. Read our Terms and Conditions. If you do agree click I agree and click the Next step button.
5. Click on Select Images. Browse your drives and select the images you wish to upload. You can select multiple files at once using the 'Shift' key, or repeat the 'select Images' process.
6. Let our system analyse your images and generate thumbnails. Once thumbnails are created, click the 'Upload' button.

We provide FTP access in case you prefer to upload your images using File Transfer Protocol. You should ask for an FTP account (send an e-mail to ftp@kosherstock.com indicating your kosherstock username and your preferred language English or French). We will send your FTP login information. Please note that JPG files uploaded via FTP have to include IPTC Title, Description and Keywords.
Alternatively, you can send your images on a CD or DVD. Please make sure that your disc is properly labeled with your username and that IPTC Title, Description and Keywords are embedded in your files. Send your disc to KOSHERSTOCK, 86 avenue Général Leclerc, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt, France.

Uploading Model and Property Releases

1. Click the My Images link in order to enter your Upload area. Click the Model and Property releases tab.
2. Click Add Model or Property release.
3. Enter a Title for your model or property release.
4. Enter a Description for your model or property release. (Not madatory).
5. Under "Photo" click the Choose File button. Browse your disk and select a .jpg image representing the model or property. (Not madatory).
6. Under "Model or Property release" click the Choose File button. Browse your disk and select the signed model or property release document.
7. Click the Upload button.

Editing your uploads

1. Click the Uploads link in order to enter your Upload area. Click the My uploads link.
2. Choose whether you want to view All your upload, your Approved uploads, your Pending uploads (those which are still in the approval queue) or your Rejected uploads.
3. To permanently delete an upload click the Remove link. To edit an upload click the Edit link. There you can perform changes to your images such as moving it to another category, changing it's title, description and keywords. Note that you can not change the license type (Commercial or Editorial) when editing an image. In order to make such change you have to delete your image and reupload it. Your image will pass through the approval queue again.

Monitoring your Earnings

Click the My Commission link.
Under the Earning tab you can view all the sales related to your images. Which images were sold, when and how much you got for each sale.
Under the Payments tab you can view details about every payout that was sent to you by kosherstock.
In order for us to send your payments, we need you to provide us with your Paypal® and/or MoneyBookers® email address. Do so under the Settings tab.
Summary of your earnings, payments as well as your balance is visible under the Balance tab.

Asking for Payment

1. Check your balance amount. If the amount is 50 credits (US Dollars) or more you can request a payment.
2. Make sur you have entered your PayPal® and/or your MoneyBookers® email address under the Settings tab.
3. Click on the Email Contact link at the bottom of the page. In your message let us know:
   1. Your username (login name),
   2. The amount of credits (US Dollars) you wish to draw from your balance (Note: you can not draw less than 50 credits),
   3. The payment gateway you want the money sent to (PayPal® or MoneyBookers®), in case you have both accounts in your settings.

   Payments are issued monthly, on the 10th day of each month.

Customizing your Account

When looking at your images, if a user clicks your username he is presented with some information about you (your country and city of residence, your website address (if applicable), the date you registered to kosherstock and your company name (if applicable). He can also browse your entire portfolio. We suggest that you write down a short bio or present yourself in a few words (this will display under the About tab). To do so, click on the My Account link. Under the About tab, fill in the 'Profil' field.

It is a requirement of our license, that all images used for editorial purposes are accompanied by the words: "© Artist’s Name/kosherstock" or simply "kosherstock" in case you didn't make your name publicly viewable in your profile. To make your name publicly viewable insert the following line at the beginning of your Profile: "Copyright Your Name".
